When Bangladesh Tour India This November, Who Will Come out on Top?

When you are an international cricketer, you rarely have a lot of time to take a rest. India has recently finished playing three T20 matches and three test matches against South Africa, but they welcome Bangladesh at the beginning of November for three more T20 matches and two test matches that are also part of the ICC World Test Championship. Below we will take a look at how we think India will fare in these matches as a tip for your cricket betting.

How Will India Fare in the T20 Matches?

The first T20 match will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on the 3rd November at 19.00 (IST). The second one will take place four days later at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot at 19.00 (IST). The third and final match of this T20 series will be played three days after the second at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur at 19.00 (IST).

When we look at India's record against Bangladesh in T20 matches, we see that they have played each other eight times and India have come out on top every single time. Taking these stats into account, we think that they will win the series, but we actually think Bangladesh will register their very first T20 win against India? You want to do cricket betting on that? Feel free!

Why do we think that? Well, Bangladesh are constantly improving, and you can never discount a team that has immensely talented players such as Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Rubel Hossain, and Mustafizur Rahman.

However, Shakib Al Hasan has just been banned from all cricket for two years (with half of the sentence suspended) for failing to report that a corrupt bookie approached him three times. This is a huge blow for Bangladesh as he is their best player by a country mile. One need only remember his performances at the 2020 Cricket World Cup to see this.

Therefore, if we were to try and predict the score of the series, we would probably have to go for 2-1 to India. For the Indian team, we expect Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar to shine.

How Will India Fare in the Test Matches?

As we mentioned in the introduction, these two test matches are part of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship, so they are very important for both sides.

The first test is scheduled to start on the 14th November at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore, while the 2nd test is scheduled to start on the 22nd November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

When we look at India’s test record against Bangladesh, we see that they have played each other nine times and India have come out on top seven times. The other two matches ended in a draw. If that bring you something in mind, you can find indian sites to bet on cricket here.

We think India will win both of these test matches quite comfortably, based on how they have just performed against South Africa. The Proteas are a better test outfit than Bangladesh, and they were put away very comfortably by India. They won the first test by 203 runs, the second one by an innings and 137 runs, and the third one by an innings and 202 runs.

If India play to their full potential, they should cement their position at the top of the ICC World Test Championship table. However, they will have to be wary of Bangladesh’s talented test players such as Tamim Iqbal, Abu Jayed, and Mushfiqur Rahim. If these guys play to their potential, then Bangladesh might be able to grab a draw in one of the tests.

We think Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Umesh Yadav will shine in the two test matches.
